Sophie is a registered psychologist who is passionate about working with children and their families. Her career has primarily been in private practice, schools
and early intervention settings.

Sophie has a warm, holistic approach to therapy. She utilises an array of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, and Acceptance Commitment Therapy. She enjoys incorporating play, movement and arts and crafts in her sessions. When working with parents and caregivers, Sophie draws on principles from neurobiological and attachment frameworks. She thoughtfully considers the system around the child and is committed to working alongside teachers, parents, and other health professionals to assist them in supporting the child.

Sophie works with children and families with a broad range of mental health and developmental concerns including; anxiety and mood disorders, trauma, ADHD, Autism, family dysfunction, parental separation, self-esteem, and grief and loss. Her special interest is in anxiety, trauma, parenting and assisting families with complex and system issues.

Sophie is also experienced in assessing for Autism and ADHD, and conducting learning and cognitive assessments
